Who is this qualification for? 
 
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained within their first-aid needs assessment. It is equally relevant to anyone who wants to increase their first aid knowledge. 
 
Where and When? 
 
The course can be delivered at your venue on a date suitable to your needs. We could source a suitable venue on your behalf and also run several open courses at our own venues. 
 
Assessment method 
 
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning. There is no final exam 
Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years. Under current guidelines it is recommended that all First Aid Training is refreshed and updated annually. 
 
 
How long will it take? 
 
1 Day (6 hours) of tutor led learning.

The role and responsibilities of a first aider. 
Regulations 
Managing First Aid incidents. 
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty who is/is not breathing normally. 
Controlling major bleeding. 
Burns, breaks and minor injuries

Holders of the 3 day First Aid at Work qualification will be certified workplace First Aiders in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act. The course can be delivered at your place of business or a venue of your choosing for groups of up to 12 delegates from £1500 
 
Who is this qualification for? 
 
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment. The course can be adapted to industry specific requirements with notice. 
 
Where and When? 
 
The course can be delivered at your venue on a date suitable to your needs. We could source a suitable venue on your behalf and also run several open courses at our own venues. 
 
Assessment method 
 
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning. There is no final exam

3 days (18 hours) of tutor led learning. The course can be delivered either over three consecutive days or on other days, including weekends, with prior arrangement.
