FIRST AID TRAINING
Level 2 Award In Basic Life Support and Safe Use of Automated External Defibrillation
This course is aimed at individuals wishing to learn how to safely use a defibrillator including the Public Access Units now available in many communities and areas of society. This course can be delivered at your place of business or a venue of your choosing for groups of up to 10 delegates
Who is this qualification for?
This course is aimed at individuals wishing to take further training or to develop their knowledge and/or skills in this subject area. It is recommended for first-aiders in the workplace who have access to a defibrillator or is suitable for schoolchildren as recommended by The Resuscitation Council (UK).
All delegates must be physically able to perform CPR
Where and When?
The course can be delivered at your venue on a date suitable to your needs. We could source a suitable venue on your behalf and also run several open courses at our own venues.
This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning. There is no final exam
Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 certificate valid for 2 years. Under current guidelines it is recommended that all First Aid Training is refreshed and updated annually.
How long will it take?
Include being able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally, be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, know how to safely use an automated external defibrillator and be able to safely use an automated external defibrillator.
The cost of the course for 15 delegates is £200 when delivered at your own venue. If you add one of our other three hour courses on the same day then the price is £150.
